I'm going to add my two cents worth. He is a educated moron. "Progressives" tell us how this city is and should be. And in my mind I thought progressive meant moving ahead? Hell, NA were going in reverse mighty damn fast. Do I believe what roger says? Hell Noooo
The bottom line is, for those people who don't get it.(NAC) they have no idea how ripped off their getting by our local city government. And all they base roger's opinion on is a sound bite he hears from a certain politican.

I am "fed up" with all this "pie in the sky" downtown crap. We need Price for Council. Steve will fight tooth and nail for us and will fight for the interests of all the taxpaying, working people of New Albany. We don't need another "build it and they will come" spend and spend person like numbskull Maury K Goldberg.
We need somebody with a pair---you know what I mean. Someone who will lead and not follow,somebody who will say BULLSH to the whole civility line of crap and call a spade a spade. When roger, spout their phony progressive junk, we need somebody to stand up and say, what the hell is civil about screwing us citizens? New Albany has been lead around by the nose by whinny nosebleed boneheads for 30 years!
I just returned back home to N.A. from Iraq where I worked in the construction field as a civilian contract employee.
I returned home in one puiece thanks to the brave men and women of our armed forces and several civilian contract security forces mainly current or former police officer's. These folks are doing amazing work in the most adverse conditions.
I don't care if you are for or against the war, please say a prayer for these folks, they need it.
Please also remember our local police officer's. The sacrifices these folks are expected to make day in and day out are often overlooked or overshadowed.
MAKE NO MISTAKE, THERE ARE SOME WHO ARE TAKING A WATCH AND WAIT ATTITUDE OVER THURSDAYS COUNCIL MEETING. WE NEED TO SEND A CLEAR MESSAGE TO GARNER THAT THE CITIZENS WILL NOT BE SATISFIED WITN BONES, TABLE SCRAP, OR HIS DOG-AND-PONY SHOWS.
I'd love to see rogers list of nine people who would be willing to serve on the council and who would vote the way you so called armchair quarterbacks want them to on every issue.
In my humble opinion Valla Ann Bolovschak would make an excellent mayor or council women.
in business I have had the oppurtunity to work very closely with Valla Ann. And her reputation is beyond reproach. This women has values that would directly correspond to what the City of New Albany needs most in todays climate.
She is one of the finest women you would ever want to meet. She has been an inspiration not only to myself but to many others who had the opportunity to meet her over the last 2 years. Her passion for wanting to make things better is second to none. This woman does not no the word quit or no. The only word she knows is DO. Valla Ann is not a sayer, she is a do'er.
Being the good democrat that I am. I was one of the many who received a phone call about this poll of Former Mayor Douglas England.

Being a life long democrat and now feeling ashamed of being one.
I like the majority of democrats of the City of New Albany will not VOTE for none of them, and make sure you mark me as a NO vote for none of these candidates.
My thought is;
If England and Garner have not done the job they should have done. Why do they think they would get my vote or anyone else's vote?
New Albany voters were fooled when they elected Garner. The question is: Will New Albany voters be fooled again electing any member of the current or past city council members that have consistenly contributed to the financial diaster of New Albany.
Ah, hell folks, what does it matter anyways. England or Garner. This city is doomed anyways. All the kings horses and all the kings men couldn't put the city of New Albany back together again.
Anybody going to the prayer meeting roger is having February 6? Listen what he says widening the circle of faces to names, and chatting about local issues, sincere political hopefuls whatever is right.
If people dont get away from behind the keyboards and get directly involved in political action that will solve these problems without defaulting to higher taxes or bankrupcy, then they shouldnt complain about the consequences.
Get involved, help a campaign, donate or otherwise things wont change.
I personally find no credibility with "anonymous" comments. If people are going to bash some one for posting their opinions, they should at least have the guts to show who they are. All of these posts with no profiles to go along with them, the administrator of this blog shows no details of who they are, where they are at in the city. Ridiculus, unwarranted, and if you do not like what a blogger has to say simply follow this one rule. DO NOT KEEP GOING BACK TO THE SITE AND READING THE POSTS. In fact, judging by the times of the posts, it would appear to me that the very author of this blog is they very one who posted all of the comments as well. Oh well. I bet this comment is "moderated".
I have to say this is like watching comedy central. You people do not even have the nerve to stand behind your words. You throw mud like a 5 year old kid. You hide behind your anonymous post. If you believe in what you say the say who you are. Stand behind your words. I happen to be a fan of N.A.Confidential. I am new to New Albany and Bluegill happens to be my neighbot and I have had the chance to meet several of the N.A. Confidental people and I have to admit they are some friendly people.
To say that the people of N.A. Confidental have no clue what is really going on is well horse caca. I have a feeling most of these post come from the wanna be yuppies that live out grant line and chrlestown road and have no clue what it is like to live downtown. You dont have the meth heads and crack whores standing on your street corner selling crack and crack. Or have a 19 year old girl raped in the ally behing your house. Or a house full of trash doing doughnuts in the gravel parking lot evernight. Not to mention the people fighting inthe front yard about how they would rather spend their money on cocaine instead of crack. I see this crap all the time. The house across the street from me is far beyond trashy.
So when you people have the balls to back your words up with a face then you might have a valid point.
Kevin, the people who bash other people from behind a mask are worse than 5 year olds. My son has more personal integrity than these anon-bloggers any day. If it's worth reading, it's worth signing - period. Can we all just forget this now?
